The Presidency announced that President Cyril Ramaphosa will hold another ‘family meeting’ on 25 July ahead of Level 4 regulations expiry. Amid the relatively high number of active covid-19 case, schools are still expected to reopen on Monday, basic education minister Angie Motshekga said on Saturday media briefing.

In the last 24 hours, just over 12056 people have tested positive countrywide, Gauteng contributing about 30% of the cases, followed by the Western Cape at 21%. The country has seen 413 Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the death toll to 69 488.
