Kwaito ledend Doc Shebeleza real name was Victor Bogopane, has died in hospital at the age of 51 after a long illness.
“Doc Shebeleza passed away on Thursday morning around 10.30am, after being discharged from hospital on Monday,” said Mavundla his manager.
The Ebumnandini hit maker spent the festive season at home with his family after being discharged from hospital before Christmas. Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Doc said he would be undergoing a second operation in two weeks but was in high spirits.
His death comes just days after the death of musician and actor Winnie Khumalo.
